A friend of mine online is really trying hard to find ways to do that. Like all of us, he cannot do it alone, and everyone needs a hand now and then. Military pensions and a family are a bad combination. He served. He gave, and now it is time to give back.
Go, visit, see what you can do to help. Everyone has something to give, if not always the obvious.
