Tremulous, an open source game that blends a team based FPS (First-person shooter) with elements of an RTS (Real-time strategy). Its based on the Quake3 engine and the graphics are superb!

whenever I type a command to open some application which is not installed in my Ubuntu system, the repositories are automatically scanned and, if there is an application with the given name, it will be suggested for installation. Ubuntu just gets better!
