…put perfection in the work.
I wrote before about my Creative Zen Vision:M. It is working sweetly under Linux thanks to this HowTo, and today I got to use another magic feature:)
So, I have been fixing a friend’s system, and was backing up her data (about 2.6gb worth) over the network. Even Tar and Gzipped, t’was slow, so slow!
However, I remembered you could setup a part of your Creative Zen Vision:M as a removable hard drive – it has set sizes, 512mb, 1gb, 2gb, 4gb, etc. Cool, selected 4gb, plugged it into her computer while running Ubuntu 6.10 (Edgy) as a LiveCD, and up popped the file manager with the drive, all ready to write to.
And it did. This rocks.
